D.63's Cyber Security Section (CSS) focuses on maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of agency information systems. Cyber Security Section provides technical oversight and guidance for organizations building or maintaining a compliant IA program. CSS helps to create an IA program which applies best business practices for managing risk, provides a mission consistent with each CIO officer, and considers next-gen evolutions.
CSS performs IA/InfoSec functions which fulfill the requirement for independent Certification & Accreditation (C&A) testing found in many organization IA policies. CSS functions include architecture, training, dissemination of policy, policy oversight and management, documentation development, and providing program site based Accreditation. Cyber Security will assist organizations by providing Information System Security Officer/Manager (ISSO/ISSM) to maintain their IA program. CSS is non-brand centric, serving clients based on their needs and their proprietary or choice applications.
Federal and State agencies can procure IA services from D.63 through use of the GSA Schedule 70 Contract Vehicle #GS-35F-0318S.
