Requirements:

• Up-to-date, current and active Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

• US Citizenship is required. BS degree in Computer Science or IT related field or equivalent Military experience w/Honorable

• Professional and personal References are required and D.63 will contact/confirm them.

• Applicants selected will be subject to a corporate background check, government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in developing Information Systems Security documentation with an emphasis on Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and/or Security policy development. Should have hands-on experience with developing relevant security policies, procedures and other relevant Security documentation including SSAA/SSPs and related appendices.

• Experience developing and executing proper procedures for handling security incidents is required.

• Experience developing Accreditation documentation for classified and unclassified major applications and general support systems is required

• Experience with Federal Information Security Policies, Directives, Guidelines and practices. Relevant hands-on experience with DISTCAP, DCID 6/3, NIACAP, and NIST Series is a MUST.

• Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will conduct periodic security reviews of all information systems, implement security safeguards and monitor attempts to test or circumvent security mechanisms.

• Will develop and maintain SSAA/SSPs for Large Area Networks and related systems to universal Wide Area Networks. • Must be familiar with various types of technology such as (Switches, Fiber Technology, LAN/WAN/SAN, TCP/IP, and others.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Military Member Honorable (or with honorable) discharge

• No military experience: Bachelors degree in a related IT field

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Information Technology Risk Management, Information Security, or related field

• Able to objectively assess IT systems and processes, and devise effective solutions to mitigate risk

• Solid working level knowledge of MS Office Suite

• Familiar with ISO27001, NIST Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry-recognized certification highly desirable (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CEH)

• IT Audit experience; Developing Security Plans, CONOPS, COOP, Disaster Recovery Plans, Incident Response Plans, etc. Professional Skills:

• Self-motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Self-starter with ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks/projects in a disciplined and organized fashion while maintaining attention to detail

• Analytical problem solving skills and ability to evaluate areas of non-compliance and associated risk implications to the business

• Excellent teamwork and client service skills

• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
